Inspired by Gérard Deschamps, he revives the ideas and practices of new realism artists in his own way. With the lapse of time, in other social contexts and in the context of other incoming ideas Vlach works (often with grace) with other materials - for example, aggregating painted pleated fabrics fragments of clothing. In addition to painting techniques, he often uses composed assemblage and collage.

About me
PETR VLACH, artist working in Polná in the Jihlava region, self-taught, creative experimenter. He had his first author's exhibition in 2014. He soon gained an unmissable place on our art scene. Abroad, he became the only Czech participant among the regular participants in the traditional international exhibition Human Rights in Rovereto, Italy. He is the vice-president of the Union Association of Fine Artists of the Vysočina Region in Jihlava.
